How do you define love?

Love is a folly of the mind, an unquenchable fire, a hunger without surfeit, a sweet delight, a pleasing madness, a labour without repose and a repose without labour.

Love is a feeling you feel when you feel you are going to get a feeling you never felt before.

Love is when two people are under the influence of the most violent, most insane, most delusive, and most transient of passions, and they are required to swear that they will remain in that excited, abnormal exhausting condition continuously until death parts them.

Can an Engineer Interview a Medic?

How about you take some time to answer the question before reading on. It is disturbing how young brilliant minds fail to think on such an angle when it comes to relationship matters.

Answering the question.

This solely applies to the working field and specifically the exact occupation. It is impossible for an Engineer to interview a Medic since the two are in thorough and diverse fields. Outwardly, one deals with engines that operate with oil and the other deals with blood and cells flowing or attached to it and the heart as the engine here.  It is therefore impossible for an engineer to interview a medic in this context and the reverse is true.

For an engineer to interview a medic, he/she then has to go through medical classes to study and be taught of how different cells work together to keep the heart functioning, the student will also have to rise to the crescendo of understanding the tough and crucial units such as anatomy. The same applies to the medic who must go through an engineering class to understand the tough calculations, rules, laws and equations derived from the likes of Schrodinger and Bernoulli and at least visit the workshop to come up with something solid, say a spanner.

Take a Scenario

You join campus and before long, feel you are ready to get into a relationship. Now that you have just joined a particular Christian society, you feel it is the best place to get a partner. Before you could even think more, you have already seen this person, an exact caricature of what has been in your mind, they call it crush. He/she is dressed to the epitome of what is said to be of Christian standards let alone the bright charming smile that swept you off the ground. This person is at the forefront of supporting church activities perhaps even holds a leadership position.

Fast forward; you two get along and you are growing fond of them. Things move so fast and you already imagine he/she is actually the love of your life, a heaven-sent. This is actually lust and not love. You see no error or weakness in them, their character is such a perfect rectitude. What a heaven-sent! The relationship seems perpetual at least on your side. How are you even to listen to friends and acquaintances who amicably advise you to make haste slow?

Moving yonder, things start changing and you are struggling to understand what is actually happening. This is after you have bountifully invested your emotions in them, spending the night hours into titillations as he/she made devious innuendos. It doesn’t take long when your short-while doubts are now confirmed. Alas! Somebody has trifled with your heart. He/she is not actually what you imagined. You begin to join the dots of what you have been extrapolating. The words of those branded antagonists is now an infinite exactitude. The society of Christians that you had just joined is now seen and termed by you as a stupendous pandemonium. What a tragedy!

Conclusion

It is dangerous to join a group of people and imagine they are all wonderful people. Some are just but a figment, a wolf in sheep’s clothing with the intention of winning your desires. Stay put and before making moves to be emotionally interested in any of the individuals, learn how they behave. Learning too requires some time.

You have come to church, study the word of God, take time and be right with Him. Don’t rush before achieving the first and right objective of coming to church. That way you will be able to know and differentiate who is actually wearing a Christian musk and who is a true Christian.

Before you start terming church folks as pretenders and the worst people to get into a relationship with, just pose and think; did I as an engineer study medicine well enough before going to interview that medic?

By studying the Christian ways, you will be able through the power of the Holy Spirit to interview a Christian and rightly discern whether they are true Christians and perhaps stand a chance to be hired by your company not on contract but permanently.

But above all, Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness: and all these things shall be added unto you.
